Things to Know

We'll be carrying a rotating selection of chains available on a first come first served basis. We will be offering stainless steel, sterling silver & gold filled chains via appointment or walk-in. If you are interested in a 14K solid gold chain click here to select your chain. A $50 deposit is required to reserve your 14K solid gold chain. If you select a solid gold chain you can book an appointment or walk-in. Appointments will be prioritized.

  • I want a custom engagement ring and/or wedding band. What is the process and payment terms?
    We offer free consultations to go over style and price point. A $100 deposit is required to begin the design process and covers the CAD design fee and resin sample. The $100 is credited towards the total cost of the ring. Once the CAD & resin sample have been approved a 50% deposit is due to start the casting process. Manufacturing time varies but averages 3-5 weeks. Once the ring is finished the balance is due at pick up or prior to shipping. We offer interest-deferred financing through Synchrony Financial Bank. **Update 3/1/24 Our custom design minimum is now $2,500. If that's not quite in your budget, no worries!   • What services does Your Personal Jeweler provide?
    We provide personal or "private" jeweler services by consulting with you to find your specific jewelry needs and then work with our network of wholesalers, manufacturers, liquidators, and custom designers to match you to the fine jewelry item(s) right for you. While Your Personal Jeweler does provide an eCommerce store for you to view and purchase items that we carry our primary goal is to offer customers a unique personal jewelry shopping experience. Our website only carries some of the products we offer as we have no range in what fine jewelry we can get or have made for you. We treat our customers like family, getting to know them while building a profile of their jewelry likes and dislikes ensuring that with each purchase the experience becomes more personalized for the customer

(Please note we return all missed phone calls and emails within one business day) Let us know your name if you are a new or returning customer, what fine jewelry you are looking to purchase with as much detail as possible, and your budget. If you request a video conference list your preference of date and time.
  • How long does the custom design process take?
    Once a design is approved it takes around 4 weeks until the final product is in your hand. During peak business times such as the holiday season, lead times may be longer.
  • What video call service do you use?
    We currently use Zoom.
  • Do you have layaway?
    Yes, but not for all items. Don’t hesitate to ask if an item is layaway eligible.
  • Do you offer financing?
    We offer deferred interest six & twelve-month financing through our partner, Synchrony Bank. As long as the balance is paid in full within the promotional period no interest will be charged. Purchases over $500 receive six months deferred interest and purchases over $1,000 receive twelve months deferred interest.   • Do you offer a warranty program?
    All of our engagement rings and wedding bands come with a free two-year warranty with an option to upgrade to a lifetime warranty. Warranties on all other jewelry are available for purchase.
  • How long have you been in business?
    Your Personal Jeweler was founded in January of 2016. However, the owner has been in the jewelry industry her whole life, starting at her grandfather's store, The Goldmine.​
  • What is your return policy?
    New unworn items may be returned within two weeks from the date of invoice. No refunds on custom designs or special orders. All shipping fees are nonrefundable.
  • What are permanent bracelets?
    Permanent bracelets are bracelets designed to be worn permanently. They are made by custom fitting a chain to the wearer's wrist then welding it shut. With proper care they can last for years.
  • Can I remove a permanent bracelet?
    While permanent bracelets are designed to be worn permanently they can easily be removed by simply cutting them off with a pair of wire cutters. Should you choose to have your bracelet reattached after removal we charge a $15 reattachment fee.
  • Do permanent bracelets hurt?
    Not at all! During the process your skin is protected. You'll feel nothing and just see a quick flash of light.
  • How much does a permanent bracelet cost?
    We offer sterling silver, gold filled, and solid 14K gold chains. Prices range from $50-$250.
  • Is there an age requirement?
    Anyone under 18 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The welding process does require you to be still so it may not be best suited for those under 5 years old.
  • What should I consider before getting a permanent bracelet?
    Before getting a permanent bracelet you should consider if it is the right fit for you. If you have a job or a hobby where jewelry is required to be removed you should consider getting a removable bracelet instead. If you want the welded jewelry experience we can add a clasp to your bracelet in order to make it removable.
  • What are the benefits of wearing a permanent bracelet?
    You don't have to worry about putting it on! It will be the easiest jewelry accessory you've ever owned! Some choose to wear permanent bracelets to commemorate a special occasion or event, while others wear it for its aesthetic appeal or as a symbol of their personal style.
  • How do I care for a permanent bracelet?
    To care for your permanent bracelet you should keep it clean and free from dirt and debris. If your bracelet is dirty wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth.
