FAQs
Permanent bracelets are bracelets designed to be worn permanently. They are made by custom fitting a chain to the wearer's wrist then welding it shut. With proper care they can last for years.
While permanent bracelets are designed to be worn permanently they can easily be removed by simply cutting them off with a pair of wire cutters. Should you choose to have your bracelet reattached after removal we charge a $15 reattachment fee.
Not at all! During the process your skin is protected. You'll feel nothing and just see a quick flash of light.
We offer sterling silver, gold filled, and solid 14K gold chains. Prices range from $50-$250.
Anyone under 18 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The welding process does require you to be still so it may not be best suited for those under 5 years old.
Before getting a permanent bracelet you should consider if it is the right fit for you. If you have a job or a hobby where jewelry is required to be removed you should consider getting a removable bracelet instead. If you want the welded jewelry experience we can add a clasp to your bracelet in order to make it removable.
You don't have to worry about putting it on! It will be the easiest jewelry accessory you've ever owned! Some choose to wear permanent bracelets to commemorate a special occasion or event, while others wear it for its aesthetic appeal or as a symbol of their personal style.
To care for your permanent bracelet you should keep it clean and free from dirt and debris. If your bracelet is dirty wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth.
Yes, we can help you recycle your old gold when you create a new piece of jewelry with us. However, we cannot reuse your gold directly in your new piece. The gold needs to be refined to remove any alloys that may compromise the quality of the new jewelry. Reusing unrefined gold could lead to imperfections, such as pits and alloy clumps, making the piece unwearable.
Instead, we can send your old gold to be refined, and apply a credit toward your new jewelry. We will then use a fresh batch of recycled metal from other pieces to create your new item. Please note, we only offer this service when making new jewelry with us.
For diamonds and gemstones larger than 1.0 carat, you'll need to provide proof of provenance dated at least one year ago. This can be an old appraisal, insurance policy, or a will/deed. Non-precious stones might not require proof. For more information, contact us
We’re excited to help with this! We’ll assess each piece to identify usable stones and discuss how you’d like to incorporate them into a new design. We particularly enjoy projects that blend various loose diamonds, bracelets, necklaces, and ring so the more pieces you have, the better!
Using stones from heirloom jewelry is a beautiful way to bring sentiment and history into an engagement ring. We can incorporate some or all of your stones into a new piece, either by creating a design that reflects the original ring to honor your family heritage or by crafting something entirely unique.
If you have diamonds, you’re off to a fantastic start for a new ring! Many of our engagement rings feature diamonds sourced from heirloom family jewelry. During a design meeting, we’ll evaluate your stones to ensure they’re suitable for a new ring and then begin the design process together.
Absolutely! This process is known as jewelry repurposing and may be referred to as using repurposed, upcycled, recycled, or reclaimed diamonds.
The cost depends on the specifics of the design you have in mind and the stones being repurposed from the earring. Complex ring designs generally come with higher price points than simpler ones. Our heirloom repurposing projects vary in cost based on the intricacy of the design and the materials involved.
Many women choose to upgrade their engagement ring for special anniversaries. We can either reuse your original diamond and add new ones or design an entirely new ring. One popular option for an upgrade is to create a diamond halo around the original center stone, giving it a fresh look.
Yes, diamonds are ideal for repurposing since they are the toughest and most durable stones. This durability is why diamond jewelry is often passed down through generations.
We believe in the motto: divorce your husband, not your jewelry. You can transform your wedding ring into a necklace, earrings, or a new ring that represents your fresh start. Often, all it takes to begin anew is to set new intentions.
You can order rings in half sizes to get the best fit. If you need a quarter size, just contact us by phone or email.
If you order the wrong ring size, reach out to us within 60 days of the shipping or showroom pickup date to start the free resizing process. We’ll confirm your new size and resize your ring at no charge. For eternity rings, open bands, or rings made of alternative metals, resizing is allowed only within this 60-day period due to their design. These rings can also be exchanged for a different size within 30 days.
To adjust your ring for the perfect fit, our jewelers will add or remove a small piece of metal from the back of the band and carefully join it together again making it look seamless.
Women’s ring sizes typically range from 5 to 7 on average, but there can be a lot of variation.
Men’s ring sizes usually range from 8 to 10. You can use our printable chart or request a free ring sizer to find your ideal fit.
If you want to find out your partner's ring size secretly, it’s best to choose a standard size or go a bit larger. The average ring size is 6 for women and 9 for men. You can also measure a ring they already wear or ask a friend or family member if they know the size. Whatever method you choose, be sure to check the product page to see if the ring style can be resized, so you can get the perfect fit later on.

In the event we cannot find a suitable gem or you choose not to proceed, a 15% fee of the total deposit will be retained.
Deposit fees range from $100 to $500, with a maximum retention of $75 if no purchase is made.
For delicate set engagement rings, we recommend diamonds, sapphires, and rubies due to their exceptional hardness and durability. Within sapphires, we specialize in mermaid or teal sapphires, fun shades of lilac, and pink and green. These vibrant hues are our most popular client requests and personal favorites to work with. We also enjoy working with a range of fun stones such as spinel, kunzite, alexandrite, aquamarine, and topaz. However, some of these stones are not recommended for ring settings due to their softer nature. If used in a ring, we suggest opting for a protective bezel setting to enhance durability.
