Custom Design Process

Step 1: Consultation

Go to Book an Appointment to schedule an appointment at our design studio in Royal, Oak, MI, or a virtual consultation via Zoom. We will discuss your specific jewelry needs and an estimate will be given. Once a deposit is received the designer can begin working. If your design has gemstones we will also set up an appointment, virtual or in-person to go over our handpicked selection.

Step 2: CAD/Resin Sample Review

We utilize computer-aided design to bring your vision to life. We'll make one or multiply CADs for you to view. You will receive digital images of your jewelry design(s). If any changes need to be made the designer will make the adjustments and send over new images. Once the design is approved you have the option to view a complimentary 3D printed resin sample. An exact price will be given and an additional payment will be required.

Step 3: Casting

We will cast in the precious metal of your choosing and set your selected stones. Once the remaining balance is paid your item will be inspected one last time before being delivered to you along with an appraisal if requested.

Inspiration

The inspiration for Noel's engagement ring design was this ring from our collection. From her Pinterest board of designs I knew with a few alterations that her dream ring would be made real.

The first design was beautiful and delicate but lacked the "wow" factor in sparkle. By removing the inner milgrain border and replacing it with diamonds, adding milgrain to the outer scrolling, reducing the thickness of the shank, then adding diamonds to it we were able to create a bold and impactful ring that is also dainty and feminine.

And because sentimental details are kinda our thing we added a delicate milgrain lace snowflake to the undercarriage of the ring in honor of her winter birthday, name, and love of the season.

Specs

A rough estimate is given when we plan the design. Once the design is finalized our software calculates the exact raw casting metal weight and gives a stone count summary so we can give you a final quote with precise accuracy.

Before casting is started you can view a true-to-size resin sample. This picture is an example of just how spot-on our samples are.
